Mark called ot say it was a bit marginal even on a Formula and since my yooungest and a friend were mine for the day I took them to the beach to eother see me sail or just mess about. It was lovely down there, even if the breeze was a bit chilly. Mark was ona nd off planing. I did have a go but could not quite get going. Wind was 8-10knts at best and strangely more wind than at teh Golf or dip end. Water also flatter, and beach more predictably shelving; this could be a good location to try.
